Vicktor Taiw貌: Finding my voice
Vicktor Taiw貌 on the transformative experience of discovering your true voice, through being honest to yourself and questioning what it is that makes you truly happy.
Vicktor Taiw貌 released his debut album 'Joy Comes in Spirit' three years after releasing his first EP 'Juno'. He says that his latest recording embodies a truer sense of himself, and mirrors his fascination with capturing the human experience.
Vicktor moved from Johannesburg to London when he was just eight years old, joining the church choir but then moving into his other love of photography. His return to music, he says, has been "transformative", and has pushed him to, as James Baldwin wrote in his essay 'The Creative Process', "conquer the great wilderness of himself".
