Two new gorillas arrive in the park. But how will these adolescent boys fair leaving their family groups for the very first time, and will they be accepted into the group?
Kate Humble and Ben Fogle join more than 1,000 animals and the dedicated keepers looking after them at Longleat Safari Park. A new era begins for Mark Tye and his team they welcome two youngsters to their existing gorilla colony. But how will these adolescent boys fare leaving their family groups for the very first time, and will they be accepted by the ruling silverback Kesho and his two brothers? Navigating the introduction of these complex individuals is the greatest challenge yet for the gorilla team.
Another new arrival is ruffling feathers in the east African reserve as Haggis the ostrich gives the patrol team the runaround. But could her naughty behaviour be down to a need to breed? Meanwhile, Jean Johansson helps to feed one of the most deadly animals in the park an egg and finds out just how high a tiger will jump for its dinner.
Ben catches up with Viscountess Weymouth to find out how Newt the abandoned wallaby joey and his surrogate mum, Gemma, are doing.
