Why has there been a broadband boost in China?
Oliver Johnson, CEO of Point Topic, says China has seen a massive rise in broadband fibre connections. The organisation has collected the latest data on internet connectivity worldwide and has found that copper connections have declined 7%, while broadband fibre is up by 23%. The biggest rise has been China, which has seen an unprecedented push to get fibre fitted.
