This teenager鈥檚 invention could help millions around the world

Maanasa Mendu is just 15 years old but the Ohio native has already created a device that could help bring cheap electricity to developing countries. Awarded the title 鈥楢merica鈥檚 Top Young Scientist鈥� for her invention, she came up with the idea for Harvest after going on a family holiday to India and seeing for herself how many people lived in darkness without electricity.
