Tory MP: Upskirting objection was wrong
Former deputy speaker Nigel Evans told The Westminster Hour he has written to the chairman of the Procedure Committee to ask him to reform the procedure which allows a single MP to block the progress of a Private Member's Bill. Last week Conservative MP Sir Christopher Chope objected to a bill that would have made 'upskirting' - secretly taking a photograph up a woman's skirt - a specific offence.
