‘I spent 2 years curating the story of Scottish pop music’
Mary Anne finds out about a new music exhibition opening at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. Steve Allen, curator of the ‘Rip It Up’ exhibition, reveals that he has collected 550 personal objects from bands that, he says, represent the musical culture of the country. The exhibition opens on June 22, 2018 and features contributions from Belle & Sebastian, Mogwai, Young Fathers and many more.
