Body Language is a series of visual essays, where women talk about their most personal reproductive health issues and problems. Here, one woman speaks about her experience with antenatal depression. Not only did she lose her own identity but she felt she was 鈥渁 crap mum before she was a mum鈥. After speaking to her doctors, she found the support she so desperately needed. She is not alone, maternal mental illness affects 1 in 5 women and can develop during or after pregnancy.
