Afghanistan temporary ceasefire hopes
Afghanistan's CEO Abdullah Abdullah says the Afghan government has offered a temporary ceasefire to the Taliban.
He told 91热爆 Hardtalk that there was "no doubt" the Taliban had shown no respect for human life, but that the government had a responsibility to search every avenue to allow the Afghan people to live in peace, even if it was just for a few days.
