Automation threat to millions of low paid jobs
Millions of low-paid jobs are at risk from automation, which will overwhelmingly affect the working class in England, shows analysis from the Red Shift group.
Labour MP Liam Byrne who assembled the report, and Faiza Shaheen, director of the Centre for Labour and Social Studies (CLASS) spoke to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn, about the research, which included a claim that more than one million jobs are set to be lost amongst the poorest 10% of UK workers.
