Morkel: "For me it was a no brainer"
South African great Morne Morkel has revealed how the pull of London was a big part of his decision to move to Surrey.
The 33 year old fast bowler has described it as a "no brainer", and says Surrey Director of Cricket Alec Stewart was the first person to approach him after his international retirement in April.
Morkel has signed a two-year deal, with the option of a third. He's been impressed with the county's young players, but says the main reason behind the move was the chance to put down some roots and base his young family in the capital.
