Jamie Cousins and his 10-year-old daughter Poppy were at the Manchester Arena on the night of last year鈥檚 terror attack.

They cleared the foyer seconds before the explosion, after leaving the gig during the final song.

Jamie describes the scenes after the blast as 鈥渓ike a horror film鈥�, as he and Poppy made their way out of the Arena.

In the weeks and months that followed, Jamie came to the realisation that 鈥榣ife鈥檚 too short鈥�, and quit the job he鈥檇 been doing for 16 years to take up his lifelong passion, acting.

He鈥檚 since landed a leading role in an independent feature film called 鈥極ut Of Time鈥�.

Jamie says the film 鈥済ave him something to focus on and gave him a distraction鈥� following the events at the Arena.
