Tory MP says PM stood firm against Rees-Mogg
Conservative backbencher Bim Afolami has told The Westminster Hour that Theresa May responded "very directly" to Jacob Rees-Mogg during a Downing Street meeting about the Government's Brexit strategy. He told Carolyn Quinn: "I wouldn鈥檛 describe it as being slapped down. I would describe it as responding to a question very directly which is what I think you would expect a prime minister to do."
