The Nobel Prize for Literature is cancelled this year, after sexual assault allegations

The Nobel prize for literature will not be awarded this year. The Swedish academy, which makes the award, says it will announce it next year, in parallel with the winner of the 2019 prize.The awards committee has been in turmoil after six members resigned because of the way allegations of sexual assault have been handled. Ebba Witt-Brattstrom, one of Sweden's best known authors and feminists, and Laurie Penny, journalist and feminist activist, discuss the future of the award and the committee.
