'My friends told me to stay in the closet'
48-year-old Andy Train came out as gay a day before his 33rd birthday. He was married to a woman for 4 years and says that at the time he felt that he was 鈥渢he only person in the world鈥 who felt like he felt. He says his wife at the time was 鈥渧ery distressed鈥 after he came out and that it was a 鈥渞eally deep and difficult time鈥.
He says friends told him to stay in the closet but he says he 鈥渏ust needed to find out who he was鈥. Andy says he changed dramatically after he realised he was gay. He lost weight, changed his hairstyle and has never drunk bitter since.
