With the launch of Step Into Summer - our ambitious, but hopefully together achievable, aim of walking 100,000 miles in a month - we're looking at the benefits of walking.

Aside from the physical benefits of getting fit, there is a huge impact on our mental wellbeing too.

Steve Carr from Swindon discovered the benefits of exercising after suffering with work-related stress.

He told Marie how it came about and how his outlook has improved from walking from Land's End to John o' Groats.
