The number of doctors working full-time in general practice fell last year
Patients could be left without a GP because there aren't enough doctors who want to work in general practice, doctors have warned. Across England the NHS aims to recruit 5,000 more GPs, but the total number of full-time GPs dropped by a thousand last year. Some GP surgeries say they are struggling to cope.
