Leon Bridges tells Clare Crane about his second album Good Thing
Leon Bridges, the double Grammy Award nominated artist, has announce details of his second album, Good Thing.
The album will be available on the 4th May and is the follow up to Leon’s debut album Coming 91Èȱ¬ which was released in 2015.
By now Leon’s backstory is well known; he went from working as a dishwasher and struggling through the open mic scene in his native Fort Worth, Texas to two-time Grammy nominated artist performing at the White House for President Obama, attending the Met Gala and appearing on Saturday Night Live in a two year span.
The new record was Executive Produced by Ricky Reed and Niles City Sound, with involvement from Austin Jenkins from White Denim who was responsible for bringing Leon to the forefront after discovering him in a bar and helping him with studio sessions before he was signed.
Leon has shared two tracks from the album ‘Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand’ and lead track ‘Bad Bad News’.
