How theatre side-stepped sexual morals in the sixties
The York Realist is a play by the 78 year-old Welsh playwright Peter Gill which shows how much social attitudes have changed in Britain over the past fifty years. It is about to open at one of Britain's leading regional theatres, in Sheffield, Yorkshire. Our arts correspondent Vincent Dowd reports.
