The RAF turns 100

What's it like flying in an RAF Tornado jet?

The Royal Air Force is involved in the most sustained period of high intensity war fighting since WW2. It's not just the operations in the skies over Iraq and Syria but also Nato missions in Europe and Afghanistan. The workhorse of British air combat operations for decades has been the Tornado. It's being phased out and is now in its final year. Wing Commander James Heeps took Sarah Montague up in a Tornado to show her what it could do.
