'Let us now think of Mauritius as an ocean state'
Mauritius is celebrating 50 years of independence and arguably there is a lot to celebrate in the areas of healthcare, education, economic growth and cultural diversity. However, a minor criticism is that Mauritius could do more to take advantage of its strategic location in the Indian Ocean, positioned as it is in-between Asia and Africa.
Can Mauritius continue to punch above its weight? The 91热爆鈥檚 Lerato Mbele sat down with the country's minister of foreign affairs, trade and international cooperation, Vishnu Lutchmeenaraidoo.
