Lego builder and artist, Warren Elsmore

Bryan gets brick-tastic when he chats to Lego builder and artist, Warren Elsmore.

Warren can always remember Lego being around when he was young, and as he explains to Bryan, he was captivated by it as a child. So much so that he even dressed up as a favourite Lego character for a fancy dress competition!

When he was a bit older, it was the gift of a Lego Statue of Liberty set that re-awakened Warren's passion for the plastic bricks. Soon, he was becoming more and more ambitious with his models. Some of the things he's created include the Forth Rail Bridge and St Pancras Station.

But as Warren tells Bryan, it was re-creating the Olympic Park in Lego for London 2012 that proved a turning point. With publishers wanting him to write a book, and being asked for lots of television, radio and newspaper interviews, Warren decided that there would be no better time to form his own company building Lego models.

Now Warren and his team have a workshop in Edinburgh, and have built a whole range of large scale Lego models. Warren also reveals what it was like when one of his Lego creations became a world record breaker, and just how many bricks he has in his workshop!
