Operation removes ‘world’s largest brain tumour’
Textile seller Mr Santlal Pal came to a Mumbai hospital with a 1.8 kilogramme tumour growing on his head and into his brain. Last month, Indian neurosurgeons successfully removed the enormous growth in a seven hour, high risk operation. Dr Trimurti Nadkarni led the surgical team at the B Y L Nair Charitable Hospital in Mumbai.
