A mother's fight for medical cannabis
A licence to help a six-year-old boy with epilepsy has been denied
Six year-old Alfie Dingley has a rare form of epilepsy which showed signs of improving after he took medical cannabis oil. His parents have applied for a licence for the drug, which is illegal in the UK, saying that it has a "miracle" effect and drastically reduces his seizures. But the government has rejected the application - a decision that Alfie's mother Maggie Deacon wants to appeal.
