MONDAY 26th FEB
The first meeting of the the new year for Dover Flower Club is at Whitfield Village Hall at 7.15p.m. The Demonstrator is Sue Thompson, and the title of her demonstration is "Up the Garden Path".
The competition for club members is "From my Winter Garden".
New members and visitors very are welcome. The cost for visitors is 拢6.
There's a National Gardens Scheme opening today - Mere House is welcoming you to the joint pleasures of snowdrops in this classic English garden, mature trees adorning the park, rippling lake to circuit with a brisk walk before enjoying Tessa Wells' teas. Andrew Wells may be spotted pushing a barrow of snowdrops for Janet Eilbeck( eelbeck) to sell. All this in central west Kent at Mereworth from 2 until 5 pm.
The Island Greenfingers Club have their next meeting at 7.30. pm. in St. Peters Church Hall, Hopeville Avenue, St.Peters, BROADSTAIRS, CT10 2TR
This meeting is the AGM for 2018 featuring annual reports & Election of Committee followed by a buffet supper and entertainment by; " Greyhound Buskers Ukelele Band ".

Strood Gardening Club have their 1.30pm meeting at Strood W28th FEBRUARY 28th FEBRUARYorking Mens' Club in North Street - Don Wilkes will be giving a talk on 'Butterflies and Orchids of Kent'.
WEDNESDAY 28th FEBRUARY
Another NGS opening this week - Yew Tree Cottage in Penshurst near Tonbridge should open on Wednesday 12-5 but this will depend on the weather
Ightham and District Gardeners Club have a talk on "Spuds are Us" by Dr Sue Turner at Ightham Village Hall from 7.30pm
Visitors are very welcome.
THURSDAY 1st MARCH
Maidstone Horticultural Society invite you to a talk, "Bee keeping and encouraging bees in the garden" by Derek March. This will be at the Baptist Church Hall, Knightrider Street at 7.30 pm. Learn about bees and how to entice them into your garden. Tea/coffee and biscuits served during the interval. All are welcome. Visitors 拢2.00
Istead Rise Gardeners Club are at The Memorial Hall, Lewis Road, Istead Rise from 7.00pm for a 7.30 start. Gordon Francis gives a talk on 'Vegetables for growing and showing' - Cost to visitors and hopefully potential new members is 拢4
