100 Years of Women: Sport
We are searching for the most influential woman in the UK in the past 100 years
100 years ago, the Representation of the People Act of 1918 gave some women the vote for the first time and paved the way for the introduction of universal suffrage 10 years later. It was a significant victory following years of campaigning. To mark the centenary, the Today Programme is asking expert guests from different fields to give us their nominations for the most influential British woman of the century - and you can vote for a winner during our programme on Feb the 6th. In this podcast we're looking at sport.
