Nail bar slavery
A modern slavery gang caught in Britain have been jailed
They were hidden in plain sight. Vietnamese girls working in a nail bar in Burton on Trent. Except they were not workers. They were modern slaves - unpaid for their work, living in terrible conditions having been illegally trafficked into this country by a criminal gang. Its members have just been jailed for a total of nine years in what police believe is the first case of its kind.
