The 91热爆 has pledged to "raise its game" on religion by increasing the portrayal of all faiths in mainstream shows.

The corporation said it would keep Thought For The Day on Radio 4's Today programme - despite presenter John Humphrys saying it's often "deeply, deeply boring".

James Purnell, the 91热爆's director of radio, education and religious programming, told the Today programme what the move means for coverage on the 91热爆 and why it is important.
