Government Inspector To Investigate County Council Finances
A Government inspector has been called in to examine Northamptonshire County Council's finances.
The Conservative leader of Northamptonshire County Council says she welcomes the Government's decision to send in an Inspector to look at the council's finances. The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Sajid Javid, has announced that an inspector will see if the authority is being run properly, particularly when it comes to its finances.
