California wildfires: The trainer trying to keep his horses alive
For more than a week, properties, businesses and landscapes have been engulfed by several wildfires in Southern California.
The Thomas Fire, which is still burning north of Los Angeles, covers an area the size of New York City and several fires are still raging outside of San Diego.
It isn't just human life that has been affected by this tragedy. Many horses have been killed and several stables have been reduced to ash.
Peter Miller is one of the leading trainers in the United States, based just outside LA. The fire killed five of his horses.
