He's the Wiltshire Monk that you've never heard of but is a big deal Germany. Lullus made a journey from Malmesbury Abbey to a small town of Bad Hersfeld in the 700s and now, over 1,000 years on, half a million people celebrate him in an annual festival. It is thought to be the oldest festival of its kind in Europe, and James Thomas will be finding out why they love him so much, and what connections there still are between Bad Hersfeld and Wiltshire to this day.
