A few hundred yards down the road from where Levi Bellfield bludgeoned Amelie Delagrange to death in 2004, Edel Harbison had been attacked – just four months earlier. Edel spoke to reporter Wyre Davies about the serious head injuries she suffered in the attack which it’s believed was carried out by a man with a claw hammer. Police were unable to charge Bellfield with attacking Edel because of a lack of evidence. Bellfied denies attacking her.
