Italy's Rugby Gladiator
In 2010, Ian McKinley was playing rugby for University College Dublin when he felt the cold metal studs of an opponent's boot come down directly on his eyeball.
After retiring due to his injury, Ian returned to playing thanks to protective goggles.
The Treviso fly half could earn his first international cap, if he comes off the bench for the Azzurri against Fiji.
No professional wants to start as a substitute but for Ian it鈥檚 an opportunity of a life time.
