Paddington Bear: Remembering author Michael Bond
Newbury author Michael Bond created Paddington Bear, and his legacy continues almost sixty years since he first arrived in book form.
91热爆 Radio Berkshire's Chris Hollins spoke to Michael's daughter on the legacy of the famous bear.
Karen Jankel, Michael Bond's Daughter:
"I think because my father put a lot of his character into Paddington, everyone instantly loves him.
"He was always writing things down on the back of old envelopes, and he always had ideas in his mind. He used to get a lot of ideas from things we did as a family.
"Many of the things that happened in my father's life found their way into his books."
