Today at 60: Des Lynam
Des Lynam looks back on his time as the Today programme's first sports presenter
The Today programme was first broadcast in 1957 but there wasn't actually a designated sports slot on the programme until 1970.
The very first sports presenter was Desmond Lynam, who also went on to become one of the main programme's presenters.
Mr Lynam reminisced about his broadcast career, from interviewing Muhammad Ali to turning up to the Today studio in his pyjamas.
