Tom Hanks, aka Forrest Gump, the castaway, Private Ryan and so many beloved film characters, is branching out.
He's just published his first book of short stories Uncommon Type, a play on words out about his passion for typewriters.
He aims to draw the reader in to everyday life of "just folks".
