Four-time winner Chris Froome says he has to adapt to an ever-increasingly difficult Tour de France course, with some calling the 2018 race an 鈥楢nti-Froome鈥� route.

The Team Sky rider was present for the unveiling of the 2018 Tour route on Tuesday, which features a return to the cobblestones of Roubaix and finishes at the Alpe d鈥橦uez.

Froome feels the race for the title could easily be lost in what he called an 鈥渆xtremely crucial鈥� first nine days in northwest France.
