Why are one-in-five social work posts vacant?
Unmanageable caseloads, a lack of support, and red tape are among the reasons given by social workers for wanting to leave the profession.
There are 500,000 children requiring the support of social services, but 5,500 posts are vacant. Daily Politics reporter Elizabeth Glinka looked at the efforts to recruit and retain staff.
