Menstrual cups - an alternative to sanitary towels or tampons - are transforming the lives of teenage girls in Kenya. Girls at Luri Secondary school who couldn鈥檛 afford sanitary protection used cloths and worried about leakage. Others had 鈥渂oyfriends鈥� who would buy them pads - in return for sex. Now they have been given menstrual cups, they can stay in school to finish their education.
