Trump NFL row: 'Players are paid to do a job - it is not the time to be protesting'
Donald Trump has been heavily criticised for remarks made at a rally on Friday urging American National Football League owners to fire players protesting during the US national anthem.
Trump was referring to a controversial string of protests started by player Colin Kaepernick last year when he kneeled during the anthem to highlight the treatment of African-Americans.
Following President Trump's comments, 27 NFL players knelt during the national anthem before Sunday's game at Wembley Stadium, between the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars.
