Seal treated for flying ring injuries
A seal captured by volunteers on a Norfolk beach is recovering at a specialist centre after getting a flying ring trapped around its neck.
The animal was first spotted trapped in the ring on Horsey beach six months ago, but previous attempts to capture it and remove the frisbee-like ring failed.
Eventually the seal was caught by Friends of Horsey Seals, which took it to the RSPCA hospital in East Winch.
