'Spread population out' to help housing market
Housebuilding in England is at its highest rate since 2008, but Communities and Local Government Secretary Sajid Javid criticised the current system which he claims does not take account of housing needs.
Property developer and TV presenter Sarah Beeny looked at his proposal to build more homes with Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn, Labour MP Catherine West and Conservative MP Lucy Frazer.
The property developer said: "Even if we built across the whole of Hyde Park, you are not going to find people being able to buy their first home."
