Cambridge Dial-a-Ride search for a new depot
Door-to-door transport provider Cambridge Dial-a-Ride is searching for new premises in Cambridge to house its seven vehicles - and is yet to identify a suitable site.
The charity - which has 400 users in Cambridge - has been based at its current home on Coldhams Road for the past seven years, but owners Ridgeon have sold the site for redevelopment.
Alan Edwards, from Dial-a-Ride, said: "We may be forced to use on-street parking or car parks, but that means our vehicles aren't secure, and we incure parking costs. Ideally, we need secure parking with 24/7 access.
"We may have to look at reducing our service if we cannot find a suitable site before the end of the year."
