MSP wonders if Skye is 'a real island'
An MSP has suggested the isle of Skye is not a "real" island given its bridge to the mainland.
The SNP's John Mason made the remark during a Holyrood committee meeting on the Islands bill which aims to ensure the needs of island communities are met.
Committee convener Edward Mountain said he was sure that Skye does fit the definition of an island.
