A Pakistani theatre group has swapped Urdu poetry for English prose, as it brings the story of Heer Ranjha to the UK stage in 'Ishq the Musical'. Ranjha is played by one of Pakistan's biggest actors, Ahsan Khan, but it also includes young British talent, such as Rasheeda Ali who plays the leading lady, Heer. Asian Network's Haroon Rashid visits them as they rehearse ahead of their performance in Sadler's Wells and also hears about the symbolism of the performance from producer Huma Beg.
