Mobile phones banned all year at Surrey boarding school
Over 200 pupils at a boarding school in Surrey are to be banned from using mobile phones and tablets.
Cranleigh School is telling its 13-year-olds that the devices will be banned all year, for boarders and day pupils.
Its 14 year-olds will be allowed only an hour of use after lessons.
The school says constant access to social media harms their self-esteem and mental health.
