The NBA Star who challenged the White House
Two time NBA champion Craig Hodges played in the iconic Chicago Bulls team of the 1990s.
He saw his sporting status as a means to be vocal about inequality in American society. Craig wrote a letter, to then President George HW Bush, expressing his views on the Bush's administrations policies.
The letter would harm Craig's career. His contract wasn't renewed, and he was dropped by his agent - at the age of 32 he would never play in the NBA again.
