Idi Amin鈥檚 orders banished my family from Uganda
In August 1972, Ugandan dictator Idi Amin announced his plans to expel the country's Asian population. 60,000 people were given 90 days to leave Uganda. Gita Watts tells Witness about her family's trauma at leaving their home and the challenges of starting a new life in the UK.
