South Africa's secret ballot
Current motion of no confidence against President Zuma explained
President Jacob Zuma is facing the most testing time of his presidency to date. Members of Parliament are today going to vote in a motion of no confidence against him following the speaker's announcement that the vote will be a secret ballot.
Dr Adam Habib is Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and says: "Effectively this is going to be the closest call President Zuma ever had... if he is shown the door the Cabinet falls and then the two houses of Parliament will be called to elect a new president."
