Lorries are to be banned from a lay-by on the A14 near Rothwell, because of what Highways England calls "safety reasons" - while local people say work appears to have started on a nearby lorry park. Planning permission was granted three years ago, despite local objections, but the site has lain dormant since. Preparatory construction work now appears to have taken place.
