Don Shanks on Stan Bowles: "Undoubtedly the best player in the country"
Later this month, Queens Park Rangers' pre-season friendly with Bournemouth will be a benefit game to raise funds to help R's legend Stan Bowles.
The former England international - who also had stints at Brentford & Leyton Orient - has been suffering with Alzheimers for some time, and his condition is said to be deteriorating.
Stan's former team mate Don Shanks has been involved in the organisation of the match, and joined Phil Parry to reflect on five decades of friendship with the QPR star man.
